Seminar

Ehrhart Theory and Its Applications

Algebraic and Enumerative Combinatorics

16 January 11:00 - 11:50

Florian Kohl - Aalto University

In this talk, I will briefly introduce Ehrhart theory and lattice polytopes. Then I will illustrate the interplay between combinatorics and Ehrhart theory by — amongst other things — showing how one can use Ehrhart theory to count proper graph colorings. The seminar will take place in Kuskvillan Seminar Hall.
