Herglotz-Nevanlinna functions and generalizations

Spectral Methods in Mathematical Physics

07 March 14:00 - 15:00

Annemarie Luger - Stockholm University

Herglotz-Nevanlinna functions, these are functions that map the upper half-plane into itself, have proven themselves to be very useful in spectral theory.
In this talk we are going to give a short overview and focus then on different generalizations and indicate also possible areas of applications for these function classes.
