Integrated density of states for periodic and almost-periodic operators

I will discuss the asymptotic behaviour of the integrated density of states for a large class of periodic and almost-periodic operators. For (electric) Schroedinger operators, I will describe the complete asymptotic expansion in many cases which include periodic and quasi-periodic potentials. Then, these results will be extended to a more general class of operators, including magnetic Schroedinger operators.
