Abstract
Recently, Kei Irie conjectured that a strong version of the smooth closing lemma holds for Reeb flows on ellipsoids in any dimension. I will discuss a proof of this conjecture, which involves analyzing a constrained cobordism map in contact homology. This is a work in progress, joint with Julian Chaidez, Ipsita Datta and Rohil Prasad.
