Workshop: Mallows measure and ASEP

Abstract
Mallows measure assigns a permutation the probability proportional to q^{number of inversions}. In this talk, I will speak about q -> 1 asymptotics of this measure, following the results of Starr-Walters, and about application of Mallows measure to the study of asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP).
