Abstract
I will explain some results [B.-Grassi-Hulik-Sachs ’24] about BRST cohomology of spinning particles in first quantization at all pictures and about the corresponding target space field theory in BV formulation.
A motivation for these considerations comes from string field theory where the target space BV structure is transferred from the moduli space of punctured Riemann surfaces through the world sheet conformal field theory [Zwiebach ’93]. For the (operator algebra of the) spinning particle we proceed instead in the opposite direction, starting from Yang-Mills action in space time.
