Jacob Shapiro: Double-Well Eigenvalue Splitting: Excited and Non-Radial Magnetic States

Abstract
We present some preliminary results regarding the question of double-well eigenvalue splitting for: (1) excited states (which are in particular not necessarily positive) and (2) magnetic systems, where the single well ground state is not necessarily positive. (Joint with Fefferman & Weinstein).
