Abstract
In this talk I will present several examples in which the solutions of the classical Smoluchowski coagulation equation and some generalizations of them (coagulation-fragmentation equations) yield oscillatory solutions or exhibit self-similar behaviors with power laws that are different from the ones that one could naïvely expect from dimensional arguments.
