Abstract
We describe why Lagrangian intersection theorems imply symplectic embedding obstructions for toric domains in dimension 4. Rather than from Floer theory, our results on Lagrangian intersections are derived from methods of Symplectic Field Theory applied to holomorphic curves of high degree. This is joint work in progress with Ely Kerman.
