Abstract
In earlier talks, we have heard about three-dimensional water waves for which the velocity field U is Beltrami. That is, where curl U is colinear with U. Inspired by an approach used by Lortz (1970) in the context of magnetohydrostatics, we construct small symmetric doubly-periodic gravity-capillary waves with a non-Beltrami velocity field.
