Abstract
Over the past three decades, we have witnessed the development and widespread adoption of over 20 local and global MINLP solvers. We provide an overview of developments in this field, especially as it pertains to capabilities of global solvers and the algorithms they rely on. Computational comparisons are also presented and used to gain insights to these solvers.
